DISCLAIMER

Not medical advice

RangeTrace is consumer software for macOS. It displays the glucose reading your Dexcom Share account already provides in your Mac menu bar. It is not a medical device, not a health service, and not a source of medical advice.

Not a medical device

RangeTrace has not been cleared or approved by the FDA or any other regulator, and it is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or condition. It does not connect to a sensor, transmitter, pump, or any other medical hardware. It shows data that Dexcom’s own Share service already gives you.

No medical advice

RangeTrace gives no medical advice, coaching, or recommendations. It does not interpret what a reading means for your health, and it never suggests insulin, medication, food, or dose amounts or tells you what action to take. Nothing in the app or on this website is medical advice. Talk to your doctor or care team about your health decisions.

Confirm before you act

Keep your Dexcom app, receiver, or a blood glucose meter as your primary source, and confirm any reading there before you make a treatment decision. RangeTrace is not a substitute for them. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Readings and alerts can be late

RangeTrace depends on Dexcom Share, your internet connection, and your Mac being awake, so readings can arrive late or stop arriving. Its notifications are optional conveniences delivered through macOS. They can be delayed, silenced by settings such as Focus, or missed while your Mac is asleep or offline. Do not rely on them in place of the alerts in your Dexcom app.

Independent app

RangeTrace is an independent app from SKJ Apps and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Dexcom, Inc. Dexcom, Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7, and Dexcom Share are trademarks or registered trademarks of Dexcom, Inc.
