Download RangeTrace

Install in three steps

1. Open the RangeTrace disk image you downloaded and drag RangeTrace onto the Applications folder.
2. Open RangeTrace from your Applications folder. macOS asks once before it opens an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open.
3. Paste the license key from your purchase email into the window that appears and choose Activate. The window closes once your license is confirmed, and RangeTrace shows your reading in the menu bar.

Prefer the command line? Homebrew can do step 1 for you. Run this in Terminal, then carry on from step 2:

brew install --cask skj-apps/tap/rangetrace

RangeTrace confirms your license with the SKJ APPS license server each time it opens, so it needs an internet connection to unlock. To show readings, it also needs the Dexcom Share account you follow. The support page explains the Dexcom setup.

Your license

One purchase covers up to three of your Macs. To move RangeTrace to another Mac, open it on the Mac you no longer use and choose Deactivate… in Settings, under License. You can check that a key is active on the license page.

Updates

RangeTrace checks rangetrace.app for a new version once a day and offers it to you. It installs an update only when the update carries the SKJ APPS signature. You can turn automatic checks off, or check now, in Settings, under About.
